Located in Central London, in the South bank of the Thames River, the London Aquarium holds one of Europe’s largest collections of marine life with around 400 fish species. Visitors could enjoy a mysterious and fascinating experience by exploring its 14 areas, each one dedicated to a specific marine zone: Rivers and Ponds, freshwater stream, Atlantic upper, Pacific upper, Indian Ocean, Ray pool, Atlantic lower, temperate waters, Pacific lower, tropical freshwaters, coral reef, invertebrates, rainforest and mangrove.
You can walk through a glass platform over 6 species of wild sharks, stroll underneath a tropical ocean and discover the awesome octopus, green turtles or clown fishes.
There are also interactive activities such as fish feeding and enjoying a diving display experience. Interesting talks about the different species kept in London Aquarium are daily organized.
The London Aquarium is part of the Sea Life group and therefore is involved in many breeding and conservation projects.
